It’s been a while. I don’t even know what’s going on anymore. I feel distance from the support groups on facebook, not sure if it’s because of the cysts causing pain leaving them no patience for anything they don’t want to hear or what is going on. What I do know for sure is that there’s a lot more going on than just these cysts.


I started physical therapy again after getting this diagnosis. I want to do anything that’s available to avoid having surgery because there’s no going back after somebody cuts you open. This Mckenzie method┬áhas helped a lot! My posture wasn’t very good either so after doing a lot of work to fix that and doing these stretches, my back feels so much better!


That’s when I knew something else was wrong. I was doing the Mckenzie stretches and all of a sudden I noticed my stomach hurt. If I tried to suck in my gut, it hurt even worse and would cramp. At the next appointment I asked my physical therapist what was going on. He said that my stomach muscles got really stretched out during pregnancy so now I need to work on strengthening them to take even more strain off my back when lifting things.


I’m still working on stretches to strengthen my stomach muscles. It’s such a long process. It’s been almost 9 months now and I’m just starting to feel normal again. All those people that said, “Oh you’ll be back to normal in no time at all!” are so full of shit! After 20 years 1 or 2 years look like “no time at all.”


I’m also trying turemic to see if that helps with anything. So far I’ve noticed that it makes me sweat a lot after drinking it in extract/water or tea form.
